HeatWatchNYC was created by a group of concerned New Yorkers to address the problem of inadequate heat and hot water in residences owned and operated by unresponsive landlords. While 311 is a valuable resource for reporting these issues to city government, we hope that HeatWatchNYC will enable New York residents to get direct and rapid response from their landlords.
